It is learnt that APNGO leaders reportedly expressed displeasure over the attitude of Kondru Murali towards their agitation in the Seemandhra region for keeping the State united. The minister reportedly questioned the APNGO leaders for sparing private educational institutions from the bandh and forcing closure of only government schools in the region.
Retaliating to the minister’s posture, the APNGO leaders reportedly retorted saying that the government employees would not have gone on strike if the political leaders resigned from their posts and led the agitation against the division of the State. The employees’ representatives also accused the minister of acting like an agent of the Congress high command.
When the ministers appealed to the employees to give up agitation keeping in view the hardships being faced by the people in the entire Seemandhra region, the APNGOs leaders reportedly said they would come to a decision only after holding talks with the Chief Minister. It is learnt that Kiran Kumar Reddy is scheduled to hold talks with the APNGOs here on Wednesday.
